Nurturing a strong interest in creativity since childhood, I grew a love for design/ textiles and all forms of art.
Growing up in the bush in N.S.W Australia sparked the beginning of my artistic and textiles journey.
I immigrated to Ireland in 2004 and currently live on a farm in Birdhill Co’Tipperary with my husband and two
children. My professional career as an artist and designer began in 1995. I have since worked for leading fashion
sports brands in Australia and Ireland as a product developer and designer and have showcased art works in local
Tipperary galleries over the years. For the past few years I have been curating public art events in Tipperary
communities and galleries, working along side many contemporary artists, story telling, deciding on themes and
ideas to be experienced by public viewers.
Through my art, I hope to engage the viewers’ imagination and evoke a sense of joy and wonderment. I get a lot of
inspiration from my farm, I like to capture my animals and live stock, I enjoy painting still life and the beauty of the
Irish landscapes. These have proven to be a strong influence, with texture, shapes and colours, to develop my style.
I paint using acrylics and oils and create my textiles using up cycle and natural fabrics from my home studio. You can
follow me on my website or social media, see the links below.
My environment overflows with colour, my paintings and textile creations come from within. The journey
continues……………
