Leah Corbett is an artist and curator from Co. Tipperary.
She graduated in 2016 with a degree in Fine Art from Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.
Her practice includes realising exhibitions, facilitating workshops and initiating community-led projects. Guided by her interest in social structures, communities of place, and local narratives, the resulting works are situated both within and outside of the gallery context. As well as working independently, she collaborates with groups and individuals and has participated in socially engaged projects including Public! (2017) and Common Ground (2018/19). In 2019 she was the recipient of the Kilkenny Arts Office Emerging Curator in Residence and Black Church Print Studio Emerging Curator Award. She has worked with arts organisations including Catalyst Arts Belfast, CIT Wandesford Quay Gallery, and Tactic Cork and is Co-founder of the community arts initiative, Muine Bheag Arts.
