I’m a visual artist and writer, working with text, live event, video and sculpture. I am engaged in access led research
and practice since developing a condition which affects my mobility in recent years. I’m a portfolio artist with
field:arts curator Iarlaith Ni Fheorais. In 2023 we developed an ambitious new body of sculpture and text entitled
Support | Work as part of TULCA, commissioned by Arts & Disability Ireland. This was the first major commission I
completed since becoming disabled, working with a support worker.
As well as developing long term research with The Douglas Hyde Gallery IE and Henry Moore Institute, UK around
navigating practice in a disabled body, I’m also working towards a new project as part of the 41st EVA International
Platform Commissions. The work, entitled Deep Time, is also supported by an Arts Council of Ireland Project Award
and will culminate in public presentations with EVA International, IMMA and the Project Arts Centre over the
coming years.
I live and work in South Tipperary with my five year old daughter.
